Check how content is organised after launch. Thinkific’s Resource Library is built for resources learners revisit, while LearnWorlds suits structured academies with deeper training features. A simple course list may feel fine on day one, then become a slog once you have 40 assets.
Do the fee maths before you commit. Thinkific has no free plan now, but offers a 30-day trial and paid plans include unlimited published courses. Teachable Starter has a 7.5% base transaction fee, LearnWorlds Starter has a per-enrolment fee, and Podia Mover takes 5% per sale.
Match community to the role it plays. Skool is a strong fit if the hub is mainly a paid community with courses supporting discussion. If the library itself needs structured course design, reporting or resource controls, Thinkific or LearnWorlds is usually the cleaner route.
Be careful with all-in-one tools. Kajabi is useful when courses, memberships, email, funnels, checkout and community belong in one commercial system. If you only need a searchable resource library, that broader stack can add cost and complexity.
For staff or customer training, look beyond creator tools. TalentLMS fits smaller training libraries with active-user plan logic, while Docebo is aimed at larger enterprise learning hubs with sales-led pricing. Both are a poor fit if your main job is selling creator products.
