Model fees at your real offer price, not at zero revenue. A 7.5% platform transaction fee on a $2,000 sale is $150 before card processing, so Teachable Starter is rarely the sensible tier for serious high-ticket sales.
Match the platform to the delivery model before comparing features. Teachable suits simpler course and coaching sales, LearnWorlds suits structured academies and certification, and Kajabi suits premium businesses that want courses, email, funnels and community in one bill.
Check payment flexibility before you sell the offer. High-ticket buyers often need instalments, subscriptions, Buy Now Pay Later, coupons or invoicing, and some of those options sit on higher plans or add payment fees.
Do not treat 0% platform transaction fees as free payments. Card processing, PayPal, BNPL, tax tools, chargebacks, currency conversion and third-party provider fees can still change the maths.
Watch the limits that appear after launch. Teachable has active-student and imported-student limits, LearnWorlds has active learner, admin and client-group limits, and Kajabi has product, contact, admin and community limits by plan.
Buy for proof, not polish. Premium clients care about progress, certificates, reporting, mobile access and a clean learning experience, but those strengths cost more if you need white-labelling, client groups or deeper analytics.
