Decide what “mobile-friendly” means before comparing prices. A responsive course site is enough for some creators, but a native student app or branded iOS and Android app changes the cost and setup work.
Separate the platform fee from the app fee. LearnWorlds lists its Mobile App Builder from $149/mo on top of the main plan, while Kajabi’s Branded Mobile App is $199/mo or included on Pro.
Check the checkout route. Web checkout usually has normal processor fees, but mobile in-app purchases can bring app-store commissions. Model both before pushing students to buy inside an app.
Do not buy a branded app just for the logo. It makes sense if push notifications, offline video, app-store presence and repeat engagement drive revenue. If not, a shared student app may be cheaper and easier.
Community learning needs a different shortlist. Mighty Networks and Skool are stronger when discussion, live calls and member habits matter most, but they are not the same as a formal corporate LMS.
Corporate teams should prioritise reporting, user management and standards support. TalentLMS and Docebo make more sense for employee or partner training, while creator platforms usually focus on sales pages and course commerce.
