Start with the shape of the business, not the feature list. Choose Kajabi if you want courses, community, offers, email and checkout in one platform, but expect a higher starting price from $89 and plan-specific community limits.
Pick a community-first platform if member activity matters more than lesson structure. Mighty Networks suits spaces, events and active membership models, while Skool is simpler for paid groups with a course library attached. The trade-off is that neither is a classic corporate LMS.
Do the fee maths before you migrate an audience. Podia’s Mover plan has a 5% Podia transaction fee, Mighty Networks lists platform fees by plan, and Skool’s Hobby plan carries a much higher transaction fee than Pro. A cheap monthly plan can get expensive once revenue grows.
Check community and content limits on the exact plan you plan to buy. Kajabi lists 1 community on Starter, Basic and Growth, while Pro includes 3 communities; Podia’s lower plans have limits on products, videos and spaces. Unlimited access groups or members do not always mean unlimited everything.
Use trials to test the member experience, not just the admin screen. Kajabi, Skool and Mighty Networks list 14-day trials, while Podia offers a 30-day trial with no credit card. Trials can still have restrictions, so test checkout, posting, course access and notifications early.
